I’m Rachel, mom to two active, smart, funny sons and two crazy dogs (a golden and a chocolate lab). We have an assortment of gentleman-farmer animals around our place, too. I enjoy cheering my boys along on their many adventures, caring for our critters, and taking photos of it all.

I escape the chaos at home in my day job as the Chief Information Officer for the High Desert Education Service District. I spend my days working with databases, websites, information architecture, information security, classroom technology, and — most fortunately — amazing people. We serve students and teachers in central Oregon. It’s rewarding work.
